Week in Review: The Royal Edition

T h e  R o y a l  E d i t i o n !

So many of the books I welcomed into my life this week include royalty, from kings and queens, princes and princesses, to knights and spies and courts.  I'm excited to read so many of these titles, and I hope you will be as well!

READING NOW:

It's SUPPOSED to be nothing in November due to NaNoWriMo, but that doesn't include obligations for blog tours.  Plus, I've been developing a new twist and doing research in my writing time, so I have no time to write.  I think my NaNo will be in Jan or Feb now...

*EXILED by M.R. Merrick {Upcoming blog tour stop!}

*THE TWISTED TRAGEDY OF MISS NATALIE STEWART by Leanna Renee Hieber
[Out now]
{Thank you to Sourcebooks Fire for the finished copy!  I'm taking part in the blog tour, so check back later this month and again in December for some stops here!  This is the sequel to DARKER STILL.}

*SELLING HOPE by Kristin O'Donnell Tubb
[Out now]
{Thank you to Macmillan for the finished copy!  I wanted to read this when it first came out, and even featured it on my blog as a wish, but never got a chance to look into it!  Macmillan sent me a copy for review along with an ARC of the author's new novel THE 13th SIGN.}

*THE 13th SIGN by Kristin O'Donnell Tubb
[Out Jan. 08, 2013]
{Thank you to Macmillan!  I'm really excited about this one.  The cover design is GORGEOUS in person, and I love that the concept of another astrological sign reminds me of a series I used to love called FRUITS BASKET!}

E-ARCs for Review:

*THE CADET OF TILDOR by Alex Lidell
[Out Jan. 10, 2013]
{Thank you to Penguin/Dial and Netgalley!  I think this sounds AMAZING and have been eager to participate in all kinds of promotion this year with Alex Lidell.  I'm excited to be a part of her upcoming blog tour when this one officially releases!  After all, "Tamora Pierce meets George R. R. Martin in this smart, political, medieval fantasy-thriller!"}

*GRETA AND THE GOBLIN KING by Chloe Jacobs
[Out now!]
{Thank you to Entangled Publishing and Netgalley!  I  haven't heard of this one until recently, and while I don't think it's based on a fairy tale, it has elements from them and sounds like it belongs in that genre of "books that could be a fairy tale but aren't."}

*MAID OF SECRETS by Jennifer McGowan
[Out May 7, 2013]
{Thank you to Simon and Schuster and Edelweiss!  I've never heard of this one, but it sounds like ones for fans of Robin Lafevers' GRAVE MERCY, which you know I loved!  It takes place in Queen Elizabeth's court with a former thief disguising herself as a spy...}

*RELEASE by M.R. Merrick
[Out Dec. 10, 2012]
{Thank you to Author M.R. Merrick and Stuck in Books for the review copy!  This is the final book in The Protector Trilogy,which began with EXILED and continued with SHIFT.  Keep an eye out for upcoming blog tour stops with these titles!}
