I was watching TV the other night, and I saw a trailer come on for a movie called Beyond the Lights. I had never heard of it before. Was it a musical?? It seemed possible. I scurried over to IMDB and the summary read:
A talented young musician on the brink of super stardom
struggles with the pressure of her new-found success.
So now you see where I'm going with this. ^.~
On the description for the movie trailer via YouTube (See below), the summary states:
Beyond the Lights is the story of Noni, the music world’s latest superstar. But not all is what it seems, and the pressures of fame have Noni on the edge - until she meets Kaz Nicol, a young cop and aspiring politician who’s been assigned to her detail. Drawn to each other, Noni and Kaz fall fast and hard, despite the protests of those around them who urge them to put their career ambitions ahead of their romance. But it is ultimately Kaz's love that gives Noni the courage to find her own voice and break free to become the artist she was meant to be.
I still don't know much about this movie. In my research, it seems like it's about a singer who falls in love with her bodyguard. Could be interesting! I'll be interested in hearing more as we get closer to the movie's launch.
Beyond the Lights releases in theaters on November 14, 2014.
