I've had quite a few people comment on my nails in the past ask what I was using or wish I'd done a close-up so they could see better, etc., etc., and had a realization: Why not do a feature on nail polish? It's not book-related (Unless you're wearing the new HUNGER GAMES-inspired line from China Glaze, but I'm not even going into how wrong that is...), but it's fun. Plus, if I do this feature, I'll be more likely to re-paint my nails this week and less likely to let them chip their way to the bare bones (which would mean that I could see my nails...and if I see them, I want to bite them!).

Long-time readers know that I love nail polish. I'm always looking for interesting colors! I frequently prefer name-brands such as OPI, China Glaze, ORLY, ZOYA, Morgan Taylor, etc, but one drug store brand that I'm absolutely obsessed with is Jesse's Girl by JulieG Cosmetics. The brand is sold exclusively at Rite-Aid and retails for a mere $3.99 a bottle. Sometimes if Rite-Aid is having a sale, you can get an even better deal!

The Jesse's Girl girls are always fantastic and surprisingly long-lasting. I very frequently get compliments when I wear their polish.

One of my favorites from their permanent line is "Supervillain," a beautiful metallic red with some shimmer to it:

I've actually been wearing it all week in honor of Will You Rise or Will You Fall? although I'm not going to share a picture since my nails are all broken and short and ugly atm! ^^;;;

HOWEVER, I have a bottle shot from the Jesse's Girl website, and they shared an image of the polish on HelloMissNiki's nails, which I'll replicate here:

Gorgeous, right???

If you want to get into the superhero/supervillain spirit as you dive into reading all the great books we've been sharing with you this week (Or if you're planning to meet Marissa Meyer at an upcoming RENEGADES tour stop!), "Supervillain" is a gorgeous color that won't break the bank!
